I've recently begun to get into electronica-based music so I was wondering if anyone could give me recommendations for electronica-based music in lines of the Postal Service, Styrofoam, Lali Puna and Dntel.

Off the top of my head, check out the label that Lali Puna and Styrofoam are signed to, Morr Music. Lots of similar-sounding melodic Electro-Pop artists on there. B. Fleischmann and Populous both had good albums out last year (Angst Is Not A Weltanschauung and Drawn in Basic, respectively). You might also like some stuff that Kompakt Records has released, check out their Total compilations, the most recent being "Total 9." Superpitcher did a crazy good remix of "(This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan" a few years back that's probably become one of my favorite remixes of all time. You might've already heard of Kompakt in 07 when The Field's From Here We Go Sublime and Gui Boratto's Chromophobia both got rave reviews. Dial is another good label (Efdemin's debut album and Pantha Du Prince's This Bliss were also pretty big), but doesn't have as much of a crossover appeal, it's a bit more club than pop-oriented.
You'll also probably like Ulrich Schnauss, and check out Junior Boys as well (also Morgan Geist's album from last year, Double Night Time, which is in a similar style to the artists you named and features the dude from Junior Boys).

Owl City, A Rocket To The Moon (his old stuff was electronic, his new stuff is pop punk), Breathe Carolina (has screaming in it, if you don't mind that then they're great), Thrice (water index in The Alchemy Index Vols. I & II), The Faint...that's all I can think of at the moment.
