does anyone have any family members in the army? my brother just went into basic and when he gets to AIT he is going to do 19 kilo which is tanks. he got an 8 grand signing bonus. had he waited 2 more weeks he couldve gotten 20 grand. the army system is shitty in my opinion. they pay you what it was when you signed up.

im avoiding the army really. i have a german passport...was born in Cyprus. Every time I go back to Cyprus I need a note from the embassy saying im elegible to leave the country again without being held back for 2 years for service.
if i end up living in germany, the same thing, but not as long.

A friend of mine legally became half irish just to avoid the draft.

very true, I liked Bio Dome out of the Shore movies, Jury Duty wasn't bad and i liked Encino man also

eh, i thought it had it's moments. i respect him for at least doing something semi-serious. esspecially like that, being able to laugh at himself and be honest about the path his career had taken.

and it obviously worked to a certain extent... he just got a show for some channel... i don't remember which.
