For all of the Italian League soccer fans...i was wondering how you felt about the move

I, for one, am pissed..haha

Vieri was without a doubt my favorite player of all time...the guy is amazing on and off the field, and with the trade, i think after his two year contract, he will retire a Milan Man....

Well, thats it from me

I don't know much about Soccer . I just know that Christian Vieri is my favorite player. I have a jersey of his.

Vieri isn't the top striker he was two seasons ago, but he's still a superstar with a gigantic paycheck. I guess he was to expensive to keep on the bench.

It is a shocker that Vieri went to AC Milan but he really had no place in the Inter squad with the possible imminent signing of Alberto Gilardino. Vieri for many years has been a fabulous player but I dont know he will fit in with AC, considering AC Milan also has once mighty Filippo Inzaghi as well there and a maxed out forward line, but considering Hernan Crespo is not staying it may be for the best. Its going to be interesting in the next couple of months to see what goes on at Milan.

yes, he used to be good.

Oh oh oh yea, you're right. Well living in Europe has its benefits I guess ;)

More so, with that knowledge the other spot for striker other than Shevchenko will be a battle.

Yeah, well either way Shevchenko is nasty, so its a win-win for whoever makes it up there with him

thats true, and i heard Inter may be signing Samuel, also

and its not all that bad for the offence that Vieri is gone, i mean Adriano is a maniac out there, its just i would have liked to seen him retire an Inter player

Ah yes, a wonder fun player. It will be interestiing to see how wel lwel plays with Shevchenko, and kaka, and costa. This might not be the best move for him...but he had know were to go.Look for Milan to win Europe next year.

I don't know.. I don't really like Vieri at all. I never have. I still remember the World Cup (I think, if not, then it was the European Cup) when he just wouldn't pass the ball at all, and that screwed Italy pretty much. And on top of it, he couldn't score if his life depended on it.

Anyway, yeah I don't like him and Milan is one of my least favourite teams so meh, I don't really care. A player I dislike.. joining a team I dislike.. haha. But it is sort of weird because it's like he has always belonged to Inter or something but whatever.

well majority of tottenham fans are overweight, yet Tottenham still decide that lycra kappa shirts are the best option... it's why i sold my season ticket, the stands are like a sea of whales wrapped in condoms

however next season i reckon tottenham will do really well... so im gettin another season ticket (they're also changing kit since kappa uses slave-labour)... Vieri woulda been the icing on the cake - Defoe and Vieri upfront woulda been one of the best combinations in the premiership, on paper atleast.

2 most onform strikers atm are Adriano and Eto'o
as a mix of youth and quality atm tho, the 2best would have to be either Adriano and Torres or Adriano and Rooney

Andy

Torres over Rooney any day of the week.

he's been at Inter a while now... sorry, Juve didn't need him anymore what with them having Nedved, Emerson and Camoranesi to choose from.

Torres over Rooney any day of the week.

yea, would be my first choice aswell - but Rooney is just one of those players who can make something magical out of absolutely nothing

Have you been living under a rock for the past two years?

haha...just kidding, yeah he came here to Inter

In all honestly, even though it will never ever happen in a million years, Id like to see Ronaldo back on the Inter squad...back in those days we owned the Serie A......

Imagine him and Adriano up front....thats like a guarenteed lossless season

Yea but Ronaldo is getting older and a little chubby around the edges, in my opinion Adriano is way better than Ronaldo. Ronaldo is still a good player but not at what he used to be. I'd rather see Adriano paired with Van Nistelrooy (doubt that would ever happen), both have a nose for goal in the 6-yard box, and consistenly have great success.

I said on the other thread that I haven't been watching in a few years, so that's why.

And I HATE Ronaldo. He's one of the players I hate the most. I was the happiest person ever when he didn't score on the last match against France in the '98 World Cup.

i can honestly say that he's not good... he's old, he's unfit and he's lost his edge.
he isn't even in the top 10 atm.

can name dozens of better strikers (no order:
Saviola, Eto'o, Adriano, Torres, Defoe, Owen, Rooney, Robinho, Schevchenko, Henry, Forlan, Makaay, Rooney, Del Piero, Vieri, Crespo, Ibrahimovic, Pizarro, Pirlo

off the top of my head

Del Piero consistent? no way, that dude hasnt played a good game for years, he's never been the same since he got his major injury.

Id take Gilardino over both of them any day, hes been playing for a poor side in the shape of Parma for the last 2 seasons, yet finished top scorer in the league both times.

I agree with the Del Piero statement. He used to play consistently but hes been used as a substitute more often then naught last season and is no longer a necessary pick to start in the Italy midfield. I too would take Gilardino over both of them any day.
