I really love Canada but I don't know.. I just really miss Europe so much right now. And no matter how awesome this country is, I feel like North America can never compare to Europe. There's just something about Europe.. I can't really explain it, but it feels like a lot of things are different there, especially the people. And I guess it's just "home". I've been thinking about it a lot lately and it's getting me down a lot because I've not been there in almost 4 years and I miss it like crazy. :(

I'm from Europe, by the way.

That sucks Eda. where in Europe were you living in?

Europe has a very 'home-y' type feeling. Its all cute and pretty. And the complexity of all the languages/accents/dialects on top of the millions of countries is just so cool.

I know your ethnically albanian? right?

I used to live in Albania so yeah that obviously makes me Albanian. But I've travelled so much. I've lived in Germany for 13 months, been in Austria, Italy, Montenegro (whose population is about 50% Albanian but yeah), Finland.... hmm can't think of anywhere else I've been but yeah I've been to quite a few countries in Europe and I've loved them all.

and yeah, I don't know, I really think the people are so different. I can't explain it... but they just are. My best friend here is European too. It's amazing how many things we have in common even though we come from different countries. I have more things in common with her than I've ever had with anyone else I've met here.

haha yes I am. good job remembering!

man, talking about soccer in the sports forum makes me miss it so much more. I've been telling my mom the last few days that I want to visit so badly but it's impossible to right now so it freaking sucks. it's not even safe there for me to go back but whatever.. I miss home. :(

haha, when my uncle moved over from england and married my aunt, he had never seen one, and thats what she lived in. so he went around the thing for at least a week like he was studying every part of it. it was truly hilarious.

I'd rather live in Europe than North America. When I'm retired I'll probably live there. If not it'll be sooner.

i understand that the language barrier is a problem to live in most of europe. but the UK is honestly one of the last places i would move to. and im not really bashing the UK kids on the board, they are awesome...but i dont know, i wouldnt feel comfortable there.

visits, awesome choices. go to Prague...apparently thats amazing...italy = beautiful, germany = go for the Octoberfest...you will be AMAZED (beer festival), France = depends where you go, belgium...eh, i find belgium super boring, netherlands is awesome just to visit :)
ive never been to spain so i wouldnt be able to say anything about it.
Greece is a great place to visit...its incredible....hmm thats all i can think of right now :)

Haha, being from America and born and raised in SoCAL you'd figure my English was pretty decent. My friend ordered two pints of Guinness yesterday in London (near King's Cross) and they brought out a Chicken Caesar Salad. Guiness to Chicken Caesar Salad. Talk about language barrier haha.
