I wish this was coming to Ohio... I saw him opening for Death Cab in October, but would be awesome to see a headlining run.

william elliott whitmore was amazing. i was pleasantly surprised by him.
but the show last night at the middle east was amazing.
i think city and colour may be better live than on the recordings.

that's an understatement. dallas live is superior to his recordings. how he does it, i don't know. talented man.

I was pissed I couldn't get tickets to this show. his live show is amazing and the middle east is so small and intimate compared to the other places he's playing around here.

I'll be at this one too. I heard rumors that it might be a seated show. Know anything about that? I highly doubt it, but my guess is that people are still talking about when it was scheduled to be at World Cafe Live where there were tickets for the seated balcony and general admission on the floor.

I have no set list, but tonight(/last night)'s show was phenomenal. That's really all that matters.
Here's the setlist from last night's DC show. I had to leave early because my sister got locked out of my apt so maybe someone can post the stuff I missed. Would be appreciated! Also, if someone knows where I can find a live recording of the new version of Sam Malone, I'd be interested in getting my hands on that.
Forgive Me
The Death of Me
Sam Malone
Waiting
Sometimes
Day Old Hate
Sleeping Sickness
Constant Knot
The Girl
What Makes A Man

I'm not sure what time doors open, but if it's at seven I will probably get there around 6:30, hopefully.

On the website of the Troc it says it's a special seated show, which I think is pretty cool for a City and Colour show. Set list looked so good, I'm super excited!

Does anyone know if there will be anyone else besides Dallas and William Elliott Whitmore? Or how long previous shows have gone on/set times?

City and Colour
Black Cat (doors @ 8pm)
William Elliot Whitmore (9:15-10:00)
Don't know any of his songs, but he had great lyrics, striking vocals, and played a banjo. Also, just a great entertainer. Tell him you're from Lee County, Iowa.

does anyone know roughly how long the concert is ?

he said ( in philly ) he was nervous about doing a headlining tour because he was afraid that nobody would come. he sold out his philly date of the tour, too. good for him, too.

The Philly show was so good. I actually liked that it was a seated show. Everyone was so respectful and actually listened to the music, instead of talking over it. Thanks for the set list!

I'd never leave a good show for that reason, haha.

I'm seeing him on Tuesday @ SF. I'm so excited! Yeah, the tix for the SF show are completely sold out. Good thing I got mine way in advance. I didn't know he had so many fans in the bay area. Definitely a pleasant surprise. The setlist looks pretty solid. Should be a good show.
I was so excited for the chicago date, that I even bought 2 extra tickets for my dad (whose always glued to his guitar) and my brother. They never heard of Dallas Green (except for the few times Ive played Hello, I'm in Delware in the car and my dad always makes me put it on repeat), so I figured this would be a good show to take them to. Last minute, something seirous came up and I couldnt go :-(...but my dad said he still had a great time, even though he was probably the oldest guy in the audience.
Still bummed I couldnt attend, but hopefully they'll come back here soon.

some good youtube videos posted...waahhh i wish i couldve gone
