The festival will include multiple stages featuring over a hundred bands, some of which are listed below, with many more to be announced in the coming weeks. Along with 3 days of music there will a variety of art shows and film showings from progressive artists from around the country. There will be tons of food and beverage vendors stationed throughout the fairgrounds as well as a large vending area available to non-profits, local businesses and progressive organizations. Did we mention that there are over 1,000 primitive campsites available too? Bring your tent, bring your friends, don't bring the dog, and get ready to have fun!

Where: St. John's County Fairgrounds, St. Augustine, FL. Ten minutes from the beach and beautiful historic downtown St. Augustine!

When: March 6th, 7th, and 8th, 2009. Spring break!

Why: The Harvest of Hope Fest is a benefit event to raise money for the Harvest of Hope Foundation, established in 1997 to raise funds exclusively for migrant farm worker individuals and families. The foundation has distributed over $685,000 to migrant farm workers and families around the country for repairs to vehicles, housing, utilities, medical services and bills, food, clothing, funeral expenses and tuition for migrant students attending college. In addition, the Foundation has issued small grants to migrant-related support service organizations. Federal, state and other public aid to migrant farm workers has become increasingly restrictive, and, in many cases, not available at all. The Harvest of Hope foundation has been called upon to fill in the gaps in service to this most hard working and deserving, yet needy group of laborers.

This looks fucking unreal. A 3-day pass ticket to see dozens of the sickest live acts in the country for half the cost to see Coheed and Slipknot. I have to go change my underwear.

Tickets on sale tomorrow.

It's actually in Elkton but no one knows where the fuck that is anyway so they just say St. Augustine.

I'm so stoked for this show.

I have a feeling that this is what did Langerado in this year.

Bump for the ridiculous lack of interest in what is probably the best festival of the year. I got a weekend pass, anyone else going?

That's a major bummer. Hope the car's alright...

I was really hoping to read about what I missed when I clicked this thread. Unfortunately, I'm all the way up here in Massachusetts and couldn't quite afford the time-off to make it down to Florida again.

But hey, at least now you know that there's somebody else 'round these parts who was drooling over the line-up. Hot damn, it was ridiculous...

They may have also played You Look Like I Need A Drink. The set was realllly heavy on As The Eternal Cowboy, which fucking RULED. In fact, the only played one song off the last two records, being Americans Abroad.

They closed things down with Sink, Florida, Sink. Sick show.

I met Tom afterwards. Definitely a nice dude to talk to.
