The Suicide Machines (http://www.suicide-machines.com) have posted an update on their website as well as a new song entitled "Capitalist Suicide". Also, head over to the bands pureVOLUME (http://www.purevolume.com/thesuicidemachines) page where they have posted two other new tracks, entitled "The Red Flag" and "War Profiteering...".

Great band, horrendously underrated among this site.
I loved the last album, and based on these three songs, I'm set to love this one as well!

These new songs sound even harder than Battle Hymn. I think I'm going to enjoy this alot. They write some of the best political songs.

I feel the same way man. I have been in love with this band for as long as I can remember, if I had to pick a favorite band it would be them. In my eyes they can do absolutely no wrong, I love everything they have ever put out, and that includes their unpopular self titled album (which I think is amazing by the way) And Jason Navarro is such a fucking great guy, he always remembers me everytime they come to town, we always have a nice little chat.
The new songs have me so psyched, they sound fantastic. August 9th is so close yet so far away.

Once upon a time I saw them open up for No Doubt and Weezer.....they almost stole the show; they tore it up none the less.

for some reason i love tribeca rock club, i've only seen two shows there, but the atmosphere is great. i really can't put my finger on it, though it probably has to do with how goddamn tiny it is.
oh, and the suicide machines never fail to kick my ass.

I can't wait for this to come out

"Destruction by Definition" is one of the top 10 albums of the genre to have been released in the 1990's... without a doubt...
These guys never disappoint (except maybe the Self-Titled album)... their shows are always the highlight of my year...

oh, sorry, i didn't wanna make it seem like i'd seen the suicide machines there. to the best of my knowledge, you're right, the knitting factory was the last time they played the city. i've only seen the larry arms/wilhelm/methadones there and some terribe local band a few months ago, i just happen to like that place. especially when prissy village chicks wander in during a show. during the larry arms show these girls who had no business being there got swallowed into the pit, they were pretty cute so was nice and grabbed one of them and pulled her out, she looked pretty terrified... damn funny if you ask me.
