The Blood Brothers are not hardcore. They are sass. You got the others close enough, but Unearth is metalcore.

Other than that, I have seen people post some good bands, in my opinion. I suggest Terror -One With The Underdogs and Bloodlined Caligraphy - They Want You Silent for the old school hardcore sound. Hewhocorrupts - Ten Steps To Success, The Kodan Armada, Combatwoundedveteran, and Some Girls for grindcore.

grind is pretty much like metalcore with the spastic unpredictable riffs and such. dillenger, the locust, FASSW, #12. i even consider horse because i simply can't give them a genre of their own.

i wouldnt really consider fassw grind...maybe at times, overall they sound a lot more metalcore to me...their new stuff does especially. i just find them to be similar to zao both musically and vocally at times.

Just to clear my name here - I am not an Arizona hardcore fan AT ALL... I was trying to be facetious but it didn't go over too well over the internet. Oh well.

As for #12... I'd consider them a cross between metalcore and even death metal. I'm usually not a fan of that genre, but they have a song ("Civeta Dei") that I really took to.
