The band is called Death To Tyrants. I randomly came across this band at a festival with a bunch of local bands and they blew me away. If you like Explosions In The Sky and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, then you will love this band. There website is www.deathtotyrants.com they have one song available for download.

wow...i need to see if they have a cd online...i gotta get soulseek, and just burn all my music to cd's, and restore my original c drive.

I will definitely give these guys a listen when I get back to the States. GY!BE is awesome. At least somebody else listens. Explosions is great too.

I also recommend A Silver Mt. Zion which is the same dude from GY!BE.

for bands like this i recommend mono and their album "Walking Cloud And Deep Red Sky, Flag Fluttered And The Sun Shined"

could someone send me some Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Explosions in the Sky. I've heard nothing but good things upsettingly can't find music anywhere.

ya i saw Death to Tyrants play with Funeral Diner, Ampere and a buncha other bands back in April.
they were incredible.
im actually going to go see them soon.

but as for other instrumental bands, everyone should check out Hella, Double Dragons, and Pelican.
