I got a new guitar for christmas and I tried to put some strap locks on. A little while after the locks were in they were moving around a lot because the screws were too small. I put the originals back in, but it looks like the wood holes were stripped a bit while the small screws were in and the originals won't stay in now. Is there anything I can do to fix this myself or do I need to take it somewhere?

I've heard that shoving some toothpicks and a little wood glue in there will work, but haven't tried it myself. Seems like it would do the trick.

I used plastic screw locks that you use in dry wall to get mine to stick in my tele. Basically i shaved/trimed the plastic piece down enough that i could shove it in, and then put the screw in. Has survived 3 years of shows now.
There's another thread about this, but... what I do is go to any local restaurant that probably has toothpicks (chains like Applebee's or Friday's are guarantees).
Then I break the toothpick up into pieces, and pack the hole really tight. By the time you're done shoving toothpick in there you should be thinking, "how the hell am I going to get this screw in now?". Then just apply some good pressure on the screw while screwing it back in (or use a heavy duty power screwdriver). Should be nice and tight. If it ever comes loose again, you can open 'er back up and shove more toothpick in there.
Some people use wood glue which I've heard works fine, but this is a nice way to avoid that. Affordable, convenient, and easy.
