There was a time when I was really into the whole San Diego/California music scene. And for the most part, the bands I discovered were not all that good (Shining Through, Spend the Night are two I remember prominently). I did find this band though, and they are fun to listen to. The band is called Japandi, and unfortunately, one of their guitarist is/was subbing in for the shit pile of a band Weatherbox. Previous projects included Mister Valentine.
