well tracks 1,2,4,5 on the LP are all that ep with it, so i was hoping it'd make the LP. Looks like it got cut though :(

I love this band. I haven't heard anything since their first 5 songs they put online on their site and the two new ones and re-recorded song that they put on purevolume, but they've since taken all but "Dear Scene" off. I wish they'd put some sort of history of each song, so I know what I have and don't have.

Those were bad comparisons and I'm bad with grouping bands together.

You're reading a lot further into this than I intended.

Nightmare of You, in my opinion, is something you can find other places, and in better forms, just with all types of music. Poison and Motley Crue both made shitty hair metal, but you can come to your own decision which one you prefer. I'm not saying NoY is horrible and I'm not writing them off. I couldn't possibly write them off because I've seen them live, which would be the best place to put a judgement, I think. They're just not my bag and I would rather listen to other things that are similar.

Then more current stuff like Interpol, a tinge of Head Automatica, The Shins, The Honorary Title (like the guy above said), The Black Keys...lots of stuff on Sub-pop. Good choice Jason. A bit off sidetracking, but does anyone know what happened to Rival Schools with Walter Schreifels (ex Quicksand, Youth of Today and Gorilla Biscuits)? The drummer of NOY, I believe, used to be in that band, but I never actually heard Rival Schools officially breaking up. Also, what's the current status of Vinnie Caruana's and Brandon's basement that had a fire?
