Get Daphne Loves Derby On TRL

This coming Monday has been declared the official day to call in MTV’s TRL and request Daphne Loves Derby (www.daphnelovesderby.com)'s video for “Hammers and Hearts.” So it’s pretty simple: call 1-800-DIAL-MTV between 1:30PM -2:00PM EST [that’s 10:30AM-11:00AM for PST] and request away! If we get lots of people requesting in this half-hour slot we have a huge chance of seeing the video on the countdown. Let’s do it everyone!

They'll get on TRL....Daphne has the most insane, passionate, groupie fans EVER. They are so committed and devoted, when they were on my radio show, we had like 70 or 80 different IMs every half hour or so just saying "tell Jason i want his babies!!!!!!! I love DLD!!!!!"

scott speaks the truth. their fanbase is insane. as much as daphne loves derby and mtv in the same sentence kinda makes me cringe, i really wouldn't be all that surprised if their fans brought them there.

This band will never be on TRL... MTV has to premeire their video first. Wednesday for instance they are debuting the new Hawthorne Heights video. Then they put the video up on their website so people can vote that way too.

Let Daphne tour a little bit and put in their dues before they go on to mtv. That way they can build up a fanbase that will actually care about their music as a whole, not just a single, and not abandon or forget them when some other new band or 'artist' comes out after them. That's just my shitty ass opinion.
