the bass sounded horrible and like their other talk show performance, patrick was shaking like hell.

pete's screams were kind of misplaced. and though i love fall out boy, i've never thought they sounded spectacular live. they have the stage presence to make up for it, though.

They didnt play their best? That's surprising, cuz when Taking Back Sunday played on the Jimmy Kimmel show they were on top of their game....Adam not only had a good 1/3rd of the words down, but he almost caught the swinging mic TWICE, and Fred had a nasty jump during the breakdown of a song, he got a good foot of air. I thought overrated bands could get a revival on the show...

I thought Sugar, We're Goin Down sucked. Patrick was way too shaky. Then, Pete and Joe ran into each other, that was funny. Dance, Dance was much better. I agree with whoever said Pete's screams were out of place. They just seemed weird. The performances will be up here: http://abc.go.com/primetime/jimmykimmel/garage.html and probably a few others that didn't air.

i was glad to see fall out boy finally got it together after the conan and TRL performances. patrick was alot more comfortable in front of a pit than a seated studio audience. i thought this was a good performance.
also, when the guitar and bass were being smashed, all that kept running through my head was, "how do you afford your rock and roll lifestyle?"

yea, that really was extremely horrible, not just patricks voice being shaky, but the fact that the guitarist, CANT fucking play guitar to save his life... he is so rediculously sloppy its not funny. Did anyone else think pete seemd unusually ripshit after sugar were going down, i mean, it SUCKED, but on tv, they ALWAYS suck... think hed be used to that... or just stop playing on tv... as for patrick, he doesnt really sing words live, he sings the harmonies, but not exactly anywords... more just loud humming... reminds me of that crash test dummies song, that the chorus was like "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmm" Thats exact too, i e-mailed the guy the lyrics, and thats what he sent me... Needless to say, Disapointed in the new cd, Hate the fact they refuse to believe they put out "an evening out with your girlfriend" SUPER over rated, and now glad they suck live.

the only time i really dug them live was the first time i saw them, way back on an armor for sleep, bayside, academy is..., fob tour. after that, they were just meh, nothing new, some of the songs lost appeal.

they were pretty good before this new album. i saw them in march of 04 and i met pete before the show, ncie guy, gave me free cds, but anyone, they were pretty good, it mightve made a difference that not everything was clear when i went compared to a talk show performance where its off the soundboard so you hear every bit of whatever they hit. ending result : fall out boy sucked on jimmy kimmel
