I think that most people perceive themself to be a good person based on a few "good" actions, rather than the sum of all the actions in their lives up to that point. If more people accepted they were bad people, we'd be a more honest nation.

I know what you mean. It's amazing how people think they're all great and everything.. but they're not. I couldn't have said it better though... some people judge themselves by some good things they do or only a few good things about themselves.

It really takes a lot to be a good person.

And yeah I know. I think a lot of people compare themselves to others who are pretty bad.. and since they're better than those people.. they think they're "good"... but really, they're not. Being better than someone who's a shithead, doesn't make you a good person. You're simply not as much of a shithead... and that's about it.
