so there's no chance that a non-warped tour band will ever grace the cover is there? atleast not for a few years?
mars volta is a non-warped band as a more recent example. other non-wapred bands as you like to put it that have graced the cover or alt press have been manson, icp, disturbed, tool, nin, as well as many others.
it took them long enough to get on the cover.

god, my worst nightmare come true.... last month the transplants... and i said to a friend of mine

fuck.... at least the rest of the issue looks semi-ok... why couldnt they have but.. limbeck, or minus the bear, or hell.. even boys night out on the cover instead?

and i'd guess if icp is the alternative to warped tour i'm happy with what theyre doing. anyway, i'm not complaining, i guess. i don't expect anything else from them and warped tour music is just fine. i'm just pointing out that there is other alternative music.

yeah, I really did.....you know yer shit Scott. I hate AP mag.....but their review was straight hilarious.
Sometimes I get caught on one track of an album ( track 4 in this case ) and I dont focus on the album as a whole. And This album was just lacking and boring in every way.
Im starting to open up a little Scott, I recently bought EISLEY.....and I like it. ( gasp )

but you have to understand that what you want on the cover will never, ever happen. it doesn't seem like you understand that selling magazines is their top priority. pick your battles...ask for features on those bands, not covers.

what a convoluted mess that response was.
1. ima robot wouldn't sell, at all. I don't even listen to them, nor have I ever, and I listen to a lot of stuff. The Faint couldn't sell enough either. They're bigger, but Saddle Creek is still a very niche crowd.
Hellogoobye still only has ONE ep out. and it was free.
underoath isn't another played out hardcore band. I'm not really into ska anymore, but Big D is pretty cool.

i miss old underoath :-/.how are the breakdowns too cheesy?they were a straight up metal band with death metal infulences.the guitar work is soo much better on the two eps too much more tech.

i dunno, I'll take this... I mean, these guys deserve this cover in my opinion. Sure, they have changed and what not through the years, but that is merely a sign of maturity. There are shitloads of bands out there doing what Underoath used to do (not as good, but still) and there are tons of bands doing what they do now... so if you truly wanted to progress into a new sound that would also allow you to live your life playing to crowds and getting paid for it.... wouldn't you? Fuck selling out! Making a life for yourself out of the music you love is something far from selling out.
Plus The Academy Is... has a well-deserved section in here... I am into that.

these guys only have one good song in my oppinion. When I heard reinventing your exit, i though it was a blatant TBS rip off but i still thought it was a cool song. I was very dissapointed when I heard the whole album
