the dave grohl article was very odd, but it seems to be true, cause if youve seen any old footage of these guys on tv, dave is pretty quiet and awkward.

weird stuff, awesome drummer regardless. in utero is my favorite nirvana record :love:

and im still so fucking pumped for VHEISSU!!!!

wow. as much as i dislike mtv programming, i really enjoy their articles. they cover some really great artists. and that show next flippin rules

I have no doubt in my mind that Vheissu is going to be a good record, but it hope it comes out concrete. The way they were talking about it in that article, how they just started entertaining anything that came to mind, sounds kind of iffy to me. I have faith, though. Thrice is composed of some of the most intelligent dudes ever.

its a really bad thing. he better not tell thrice they need to wear suits and eyeliner. he better not put vampires and/or himself in the video. Thrice's new cd will be really good. Although I still wish they go to more hardcore technical side, i think they would be fantastic if they tried that. I hate how so many bands when they consider "maturity" go towards a more chilled out sound. I think it would be amazing if thrice put a much more hardcore influenced album, but they are doing what they want so its cool

i was thinking the same thing. but hopefully he has some hidden directing talents. but then again, i doubt thrice would have let gerard do it if they didn't think he was capable of making a great video.

the thrice article was very well done. I got to go backstage at warped july 10th and talk to the Thrice guys a little bit, and they were very excited for the new record and video. Dustin said that it's not Gerard doing the whole video, he's just helping out. Personally, I think it could be really cool.

the new record can't come soon enough.
