every song from the album is available to stream from that mini-site.
To call something "Album of the Year" in mid-July seems to promote ignorance. Not to say this shouldn't be an excellent record but it's a rather hasty judgement. Add that to the likelihood that no on here has even heard it just makes it even more ridiculous a statement. But let's not stop there--let's proclaim the Brand New album the record of the year for 2006.

Brand New's 3rd album will be THE album of 2006, no doubt...and the 4th will be 2011's...the 5th (2015) will struggle because Jesse will have discovered country music...but the 6th will again take top honors for the year 2019. I'm not sure about the 7th...it may be a rap album...but that doesn't really matter cause that doesn't come out until 2030 (expect it late summer). In it's wake, Eminem will finally, truly retire.

this is the first time i'd heard it.... i like it :). I didn't really like the Valiant demo, so i wasnt sure how i was going to feel about this. Does the preorder give extra songs or are there just bonus tracks on the cd itself? like will i only get these songs if i preorder?

I would say there a lot more negative users than slade on this sight. I would take an over zealous mae fan anyday over a pretentious musical elitist (they seem to plague this site) but that is just me.
The album is really great, but does anyone miss the acoustic/simple stuff they did on sunsets. While i love the full band approach on this record i cant help but miss songs like "the night will go as follows" and "sunsets and car crashes" that are missing from one fell swoop. Still one of the best this year.

The album is amazing, but there are 2-3 songs I just can't get into (They aren't bad, but are overshadowed by the rest of the songs).
Secret Oath has the most chill intro ever (and the other times that part is played in the song).

yeah, i definately agree. it instantly changes your opinion of them if you didn't like "Sunsets..."
lyrics on this cd are still good, and this new style of music allows them to create varieties of songs, not just crappy ballads.
theres one or two songs on the album that i just can't get into. "This is for Keeps" and "Valiant" just don't do it for me.
some standouts are basically the first 7 songs, and then the last song, which is perfect.

No, you're carrying on your own imaginary argument without parameters. All I'm saying is that there may be better albums to come out THIS YEAR. People are already calling things that haven't been released albums of the year. Something may surprise you and Hawthorne Heights releases an album that blows everyone away this year. Perhaps they release it on December 31st. Now, the likelyhood of this happening is about as good as my 8 year-old sister developing tits this year. But there is still half a year of music left and you're already putting all your eggs in one basket.
