Excited for the new Limbeck [Archive]

I'm pretty excited for Limbeck's new cd coming out August 8th. I've been getting back in touch with my country side and this is perfect. It's just quality music. I think I'm more excited for this than Death Cab. Anyone agree with me? Anyone want to call me a f*g for liking stuff that sounds remotely country?

Actually....it's the 9th.....at least that's what the website says.

i like it a lot, but am not too familiar with their older stuff. i've been told the old is a lot better.

I thought they used to be a pretty generic pop punk band.

I fucking LOVE Limbeck. I saw them a few years back and fell in love. I've seen them 6 times. They're the nicest people in the universe.
As for the old stuff being better.... that's a lie. I think a lot of times, people just say that because they think it sounds cool. Like "ooooh look at me, I've been a fan for so long, but limbeck totally sucks now man, ppppppppppppfffffffffft! sell outs"
The old stuff had no defined style. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy it, but it's no where near the level they're at now.
Limbeck is just about my favorite band ever.

What do you count as old stuff? "Hi, Everything's Great," or are you talking about "This Chapter is Called Titles"?

I got my copy of "Hi, Everything's Great" signed also. Well, the postcards from it are signed, not the actual CD. I recently bought a new copy for my friend at work and was disappointed to see that they got all stingy on the post cards. What's with the lame booklet now?

nope...and its true. Their older stuff is WAYYYYY better. the new cds good, but nothing compared to the old stuff. I cant wait to see them in a month. So pumped

This "old stuff" talk is driving me insane. First off "This Chapter..." was horrible. And "Hi..." was released in 03, so yeah, it's not old.

I love Limbeck and this album owns.

This Chapter....isnt that great no. But personally I just think that Hi, Everythings Great....is better. My opinion. I still like this one, just not as much as the last one. And technically..its older. Im not saying its from some ancient lands...2 years..

And dont get me wrong. I fn LOVE Limbeck..and am a huge fan.

"This Chapter..." was not HORRIBLE. It wasn't anything fantastic, but there are a few songs on there that I enjoy quite a bit. "Blurry" and "Images" are some of my favorites.

The Limbeck/Homegrown split was pretty bad though. I can barely stand to listen to it. I forgive them for that though, they've more than made up for it. Plus, they are SO fucking nice, if anyone here has ever met them you they know what I mean.
