What an awsome tour minus cartel. Acceptance should have scanned 100,000 copies of "phantoms" that cd is so underated.

What the Fuck!
Cartel is much better than acceptance......I hate you for this!
i'm waiting on a Michigan date.
there better be a michigan date.
I think cartel is catchy as hell, and realy tight, but they dont realy bring anything that inovative to a crowded genre. The new acceptance is definitly its own thing.

i understand your frustration. it was a silly statement. if i had to choose which was better between cartel and acceptance i don't think i could do it. cartel is so fun, but acceptance is just so wonderful... i just couldn't pick. i'm just glad 2 sweet bands are on the same sweet tour. TREOS wrecks it too.

the 3 foot barrier

but the sound is good.
the staff are only dicks when you act like a 12 year old trying to be danceXcore to Story of the Year or something.
And you can expect high drink prices at some venues. It's normal marketing.
The Norva is a good venue for what it is.

true

the staff are dicks .. they kick out stage divers
but you didnt comment on the rediculous stage dimensions and the distance between the crowd and the stage

when I saw then in roseville CA.
- sound cut out twice
- no crowd involvment
- couldent hear the keyboard
- vocals were off
- too too long setting up
- only 5 songs
- all around boring
= bad live show.....ill give em another chance when they come around here.

agreed. Phantoms was good for about a week, then it got boring. It's production is overbearing in some songs (Different) and most of the songs just lack any sort of energy or originality, in my opinion. At least with Cartel, I feel like I'm listening to a band who is inspired. Acceptance's live performance (at least on the Copeland/Lovedrug tour) did nothing to make me think otherwise.
They still are a good band, I just think they're capable of so much more. Nobody should miss this tour though, since TREOS and Cartel are great to see live, and from what a lot of other people say, Acceptance is hit or miss and they might be on the night you see them.

man, when I hit read more/replys button, I thought I'd see at least 6-7 dates. theres a science to wording (couple=2; few=3; bunch=?; batch=usually by the dozen i think, or at least 6).
and I also thought for once that there wouldn't be an arguement over whether these bands suck or not. they obviously don't.

bunch=at least 5. a 'batch' must be more than that, so i feel a little gyped too.

i think being catchy as hell and really* tight is nice to do. anyone can write a catchy song, but Cartel writes catchy songs with staying power that arent complete fluff and filler. i think that's awesome.
acceptance is a weird thing. its kind of like Moments in Grace, know them? like a review on Hearts and Sleeves said about MIG, it's has incredible vocals and is just amazingly good, but it's almost monotonously good. like sometimes the songs seem to run into each other... i dunno.

Well if by downhill you mean over-developed, crowded, and a shit local music scene with nothing to do, then yes. There are way too many Mcmansions and townhouses and like 3 Chik-filas in a 1 mile radius. It's just alot of stand alone stores in Central Park. It's kind of considered part of Northern VA now, there are alot of government people living here now. It sucks.

i saw that tour with copeland and lovedrug and then i saw them again with saosin and i think its the crowd a lot of the time that makes and breaks the performance because they sounded great both times, but there was a much different atmosphere with copeland because they're less upbeat whereas saosin and anberlin are fucking amazing and upbeat

i read a lil bit of the comments and all i heard was cartel, no acceptance, no cartel. well guess what treos is, exactly like francesdamute said, own them all haha, im so pumped that they are getting soo big, but its funny how people only acknowledge it part of the time.
Anyways, treos owns, awesome guys, amazing cd, amazing live, amazing old songs that im glad i can still enjoy without everyone else hearing it ;) and so many amazing memories of the good old days in the somers teen center

actually i own a pair of ears too believe it or not, and they're functional, and acceptance was a huge letdown live. jason whined the whole time about a member of the band not being there, and acted like playing on stage in front of us was the last place on earth he wanted to be. why should i support any band who brings an attitude like that to a performance?
