The first pictures for The Informers are now online. The Informers is a multiple connected characters movie a la Crash. Set in the year 1983, the movie takes place in Los Angeles and tells the short stories of movie executives, rock stars, a vampire, and more.
The Informers Stars Mickey Rourke, Billy Bob Thornton, Kim Basinger, Winona Ryder and many more
This is also Brad Renfro's last movie role
I was excited to see this movie just because of Mickey Rourke but I was sold on this quote from the New York Times
The film has sex. “I think Amber Heard wears a dress once in the entire movie,” Mark Urman, Senator’s president of distribution, said. He was speaking of a young actress, last seen in "Pineapple Express" who spends much of “The Informers” undressed, and in bed.

Looks like Amber Heard really does spend most of the movie undressed.

based on that it seems like Brad's character is the focal point of the movie, any clue if that's just the trailer or what?

I would post in the book thread and find out more. I know nothing about it, but there are so many Bret Easton Ellis fans in there.

besides the last 4 words I'd consider that a positive review

I can see where "unconnected" comes from, but that's just what the book was like. It's a series of short stories with one or two overlapping characters in the whole book. This isn't Crash or anything.

Saw this today, coming from someone who did not read the novel, this movie wasn't good at all. Pretty much agree with everything said already about this film, nothing was really connected it was just several different soap operas that lead nowhere. But again Rourke was great and really the highlight of this film and Amber Heard really did not wear clothes the entire film.
