The Ataris (http://www.theataris.com) have updated their website. It's long, so go read it if you wanna know what it says.
This album is gonna be fucking crazy. References to Sigur Ros? This shit could be epic.

I thought Kris said he was against myspace?
Goddamn, I need to book a week off work to be able to read his updates anyway.

The Ataris' updates are like bloody essays. Good read though =) I have to print them off though cos I can't physically read them off the screen.

Yeah, all I can see is some type reading "The Ataris are the sex!"
They didn't update their myspace page with a blog. That newest blog is from like 2 months ago. In fact, it was posted on this website when it came out. Other than that the only new thing on myspace is the addition of the new tour date. As for the website it also has the new tour date and lets everyone know that they have redone their myspace page.

if what they wrote was true, they turned into indie-loving hipster goons. wtf are they doing with a 7 member band playing dreamy train-riding music. boo that, I hope they're lieing

I don't like how they take themselves seriously. They're not good enough songwriters to do that.

I think they may be able to pull off this complete "musical turnaround"...I read in an AP mag about six months ago that Kris thought "the ataris have done all they can do in this genre"...this genre being poppunk...This may save their career, actually...

Yeah,true...but maybe their new stuff, which we have yet to hear, will disprove that fact

eh, say what you want about the ataris, and Ill admit, I have their cd, and it is okay, but I think when a band's biggest hit is a remake of another song... that says something..

didn't their drummer commit suicide?

On the flipside, they did do an amazing job of covering that song. Kudos to them.
