A friend and I have to present a Spanish dialogue due Friday afternoon... I just happen to be doing all the work.

Anyway, I'll list the dialogue's requirements below. What I've translated (or so I think) is highlighted in bold.

If you have any suggestions regarding either grammar issues or how to reword something, please don't hesitate to comment. Sorry if this explanation is confusing... Hopefully you'll understand when you read below.


Greet your friend.


- "Hola, mi amiga."


Greet your friend.


- "Hola, mi amiga."


Ask your friend to go somewhere with you.


- "¿Te gustaría ir a la cine conmigo?


Ask your friend the day and time of the event.


- "¿A qué hora y en qué día es a la cine?"


Respond to your friend's question.


- "Nosotros vamos a la una de la tarde en viernes."


Tell your friend why you can or cannot go to the event with him or her.


- "No puedo voy ir porque yo tengo ir al partido de tenis."


React to your friend's answer.


- "¿Pues... puede tu ir a las tres?"


Respond to your friend's reaction to your accepting or declining to go.


- "¡Si! Yo puedo ir a las tres.


Say good-bye.


- "¡Adiós, mi amiga!"


Say good-bye.


- "Nos vemos en viernes."

Yeah "al cine" would be better than "a el cine"

Pardon the lack of accents and upside down question marks.


- "¿Te gustaría ir a la cine conmigo?

Te gustaria ir al cine conmigo?


- "¿A qué hora y en qué día es a la cine?"

I would certainly not use that in any conversation. So a better suggestion would be " A que hora y en que dia van?" Which means "At what time and on which day will you go?"

- "Nosotros vamos a la una de la tarde en viernes."

Nosotros iremos el viernes ala una de la tarde.

"Iremos" is Spanish for "will go" so in this case it is way more appropriate.
In Spanish saying the day followed by the time tends to flow smoother. I would recommend that.

- "No puedo voy ir porque yo tengo ir al partido de tenis."

No puedo ir porque tengo que ir a un partido de tenis.


- "¿Pues... puede tu ir a las tres?"

Pues... puedes venir a las tres?
