This is a question for tbs fans. The song was put out a good time ago. Nolan is still in there and I'm not sure what cd/demo it was put on. I no that Sal Villanueva is a producer, but i was wondering why they named a song like this after him or what ever.

On another note I was looking through this months issue of AP and saw his name on the Briefing section. That is the whole reason I asked becuase I wondered about it when i first heard his name and the song title were the same.

Why do people like this song and "your own disaster" - i don't get it.

The only reason i can think of is because for those people that liked tbs before all the air play and over exposure. Then where you want to be came out and everyone loved them and had to buy the tell all your friends. So all the old tbs people wanted to like something that not many new about so go with something that really isn't known about. hell i didn't know it was on the victory comp, I just downloaded it.

Yeah...it's probably one of my favorite TBS songs besides You Know How I Do...Sal Villanueva also produced Thursday's "Full Collapse" I could be wrong...he may have produced "War All The Time" I know it was one of them...but they named it after him because they loved him as a producer so much...so they immortalized him in the title of the song?

He produced both of those Thursday cd's I believe. The Ballad of Sal was great live.

The Ballad of Sal Villanueva is just catchy and a lot of fun to play on guitar. Your Own Disaster is fun to play on guitar, too, but I just like it cause I do, haha. I'm not really in the mood to entertain that part of the question right now.
