I started listening to the Deftones again today. I used to be big into them a while ago, and oh my god Around The Fur is an awesome album. Everybody praise it.

I'm not even going to say Deftones > Team Sleep or vice-versa because they're so different. But my god ATF is awesome.

I love Mogwai, I love Finch, I love The Cure, I love Radiohead, I love At The Drive In, I love Dredg.... but no band do I love more than the fucking Deftones, I'm glad you made this thread, I could seriously talk about these guys all day, I just found my copy of White Pony today after having lost if for sometime so that made my day for sure. Anyway Around The Fur is incredible, Lhabia, Rickets, Mascara, Dai The Flu, shit I love every song on it so theres no point in naming them all.

I'm glad someone likes them too. The new album is going to be fantastic, I think it's out something like October. And that aint long. But I'm not sure, best check out deftonesworld.com. I used to go on that site daily.

Deftones are one of my favorite bands ever and had a HUGE influence on what I listen to. ATF and White Pony were so badass. Self titled is so underrated.

Self titled is good, but I dunno. It's missing a certain punch to me. I think mainly because it was being written when the first Team Sleep demos we're being done. Man 2002 I remember going on the Team Sleep website when it was like announced, and signing up to the mailing list and just being all blah and awesome about it, then I got demo's emailed, it was just awesome.
