The word "oops" is often associated with Drive Thru.

Too bad that happened like, three years ago.
One time I almost won tickets to see a Chris solo performance a few hours before the Civic Tour. They wanted caller ten and the closest I came was caller eight. Merhh.

Chris wasn't ever on Drive Thru, so I'm not sure what days you speak of....

Uhh offering someone a contract and bragging about it doesnt make the person signed to your label, which is exactly what happened. he was never signed to drive thru, i assure you.

Buying the rights to distribute an album after its been recorded is different than an artist being signed to a label. You can buy it and your label will have its imprint on the back of the album, but it means little else. That's where so much of this Dashboard/Drive Thru confusion comes from, but that type of thing happens all the time.

The original comment was referring to the era when Chris was solo, which was when his album was released on Drive Thru, hence the "chris and his guitar and Drive Thru". I dont see what the point of arguing this is.

First, the original comment was actually "Chris and his guitar ON DTR" not AND....two different things, and the actual quote suggests he was on DTR, which, as I've maintained through all my responses, he never was.
As such, when I said he was never on Drive Thru, you made a comment about "Then how did his first album get released on Drive Thru? Magic?" So, you got a response, especially since your comment illustrated a bit of "confusion" on your part. Just because a certain fact is contrary to your understanding or belief doesnt mean it's arguing; arguing is usually based on opinion, which this isn't. Chris was never signed to DTR, which is a fact, and one that relates directly back to original comment. So yeah, there is nothing to argue about.
