You are on a music forum though, of course people are going to judge you on your music taste. It sucks but stereotypes within music exist. If you type like this "OmGz!" and talk about GC, people are going to stereotype you. This kid made a thread about two decent bands, and made an honest mistake and now people are giving him crap for it. He doesn't rightfully deserve it.

If I haddn't read it on here that Anthony Green sung for Saosin and Circa, I wouldn't have any idea. I loved Circa Survive way before I even knew the name of the lead singer. It's about the music not the logistics.

I just laughed because of the whole topic and the responses. I didn't diss the kid. I messed around with him in that Thursday thread earlier, but I was joking.

I had my newbie outreach program, it was a hit for awhile, then it sort of drowned out. And I've found myself even making fun of a few. But a couple people go overboard. Like making threads about newbie's profiles and journals. I think thats just kind of fucked up.
