Allstar Otis (http://www.myspace.com/allstarotis) has posted two tracks from their upcoming EP, Angst Into Energy, at their pureVOLUME site (http://www.purevolume.com/allstarotis).
Note: I've been hearing about this band a lot the last couple of days and from what I've heard, they've got some serious potential. Check them out and post what you think.

this sounds like the bastard child of the starting line and a wilhelm scream.
i'd much rather pop punk bands rip through songs like this than do the whole rushmore sound.

Honestly, it doesnt sound bad at all, but it still sounds almost like every other contemporary punk band just starting out these days. I dont mean to put down this band, they sound like talented musicians who know how to rock out, but theres definitely no new ground being broken with this style of music, and it just sounds reminiscent of so many other bands out there today. However, there's definitely potential here if they develop and mature their sound and try to differentiate themselves from thousands of other bands that are producing a very similar sound. Just my opinion...

Haha, I didn't know these guys were still a band. I used to be a big fan, back in the day.

no way! small world. I met most of the guys from this band at a Saves the Day show a while back. Some of the coolest kids you'll meet. Glad to see them getting bigger now. First time I'm hearing the new stuff... theyve come a long way from when I first heard them. Good for them
