I hadn't even heard about this story until I saw the trailer for Zach Snyder's new movie. I then read the 12-part series a few times and loved it. We'll see if this movie ends up premiering on time (and hopefully he took it easy on the supers-slow-motion, but judgin from the trailer... ehh we'll see).
So which character in this story is your favorite?

Rorschach by far. He is such a twisted character and has the most interesting back story, to me. I can't wait for the movie, hopefully it comes out on time like you said.

I went ozymandias, though i certainly can't disagree with the rorschach votes. surrpised Dr Manhatten has so many, probably my least favorite

I (of course went with Rorschach) but i think Nite Owl II is a close second and then The Comedian.

Easiest poll ever. I kept expecting to like Nite Owl II more as the story progressed (he's kind of an 'everyman'), but the mofo dropped the ball.

I would like to have learned more about Hooded Justice.

Rorschach is the most interesting character with the best story arc, but damn, I love the Comedian's look on life, attitude, and bad-assity.

Billy Corgan. Just because I think the newer version of The End Is The Beginning Is The End sounded cool in the early trailer.

Rorschach, definitely.
Every other character was too much of an extreme. Dr. Manhattan had too much reason, but no sense of humanity or compassion. And the Night Owl and Laurie were too blinded by their emotions to make rational decisions. But Rorschach just had the world figured out, and his sense of morality and his beliefs never wavered.
I'm definitely dressing up as him for the long-awaited movie premiere. Yes, I dress up for movie premieres, despite the fact that I'm an 18 year old girl. Deal with it.

I love Doc Manhattan because being the only one that stops the entire world from slipping into nuclear war is pretty BA.

thats actually from the same album, the batman & robin soundtrack, two diffrent songs, they're the opening and closing tracks from the soundtrack. But yeah titles are easy to get confused the heavy one is The End is the Begining is the End, and the one that was in the Watchmen trailer was The Begining is the End is the Begining, which yeah its the better of the two, and they're two of the few songs that even seemed even somewhat fitting for a batman soundtrack, but then again that movie was horrible lol.
I mean that cd had Jewel's Foolish Games, and that Gotham City song by R. Kelly, "The city of peace, the city of justice" am i the only one that was bit confused by that??? okay I'll answer that, of course i'm not hahaha, I bet the only reason why WB had him do a song for it was because the Space Jam soundtrack was such a seller, which was what it was all about of course, relevancy is usually the lowest priority in compiling pop soundtracks. I will say it did have a pretty good song from the Goo Goo Dolls, Lazy Eye.

Rorschach was a street punk, nothing more. he didn't have the balls to do something great like Ozymandias and he was nowhere near as much fun as the Comedian.

Now that the movie is out in the United States (and has been for a week or so in Europe), I'm gonna bump this to see if there are any changes in the poll. I'm interested to see if the movie has changed any opinions about the characters. Obviously Rorschach is ahead and will no doubt stay ahead, but all of the other main characters seem to be pretty close...
Has anyone seen it? Is it any good? And let us know if you have any spoilers, don't ruin it!
