Roses Are Red (http://www.rosesareredmusic.com) will headline a benefit show for longtime friend, Charlie Cote, singer of Rochester band Five Star Riot on July 31st at the Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY. Last year, Charlie was diagnosed with cancer. RAR lead many other Rochester area bands in a night of music and friends, raising funds for Cote and his family. For more information on Cote's story, visit teenslivingwithcancer.com (http://teenslivingwithcancer.com)

They don't really. everyone i know in rochester rips on them, but i assume that's just cuz they got signed or whatever. Charlie is the man, awesome kid, awesome cause. I hope tons of kids show up. It's also my band's last show with our singer, seeing as travis rankin from verona/i dreamer is taking over. the end.

Fuck cancer.

I'm really not a fan of Roses Are Red, I already bought a ticket though, definitely worth it and it's cool that all the money goes to Charlie and his family.

Five Star Riot was a staple band for me when I did shows in rochester...a worse thing couldnt happen to a better kid and family. He is what the ROC is all about...

I def. wrote a check for that one even though I cant go...
