i can't tell if thats a compliment or not, because this release is a lot better than most stuff as of late . i'd rather have honest sounding pop rock in the same vein as knapsack (see 5 years ago) than the majority of stuff that is popular at the moment.

Cause I keep coming back to the new CD, I love it. I will go listen to another CD once through, then come back to Stop Doing Bad Things for 3 or 4 listens.

Was it like that from the first second you heard it though? I dont remember your initial reaction of this album.

Unlike most albums that come out and get old after 4 listens, this one gets better after 4 listens. One of the best albums of the year for me.

I never understood why people didn't like the new album.

and it didn't seem to get "hyped" near it's realease(probably because of everything else coming out around the time).

Yah, it grew on me big time. It wasn't a top favorite of mine until I just kept playing it, hearing new things, and really getting into the harder hitting pop sound.

Right on. I honestly can't tell you why for sure, but Stop Doing Bad Things just kinda came and gone for me...it's not that it necessarily wasnt good, i mean the songs were solid and enjoyable (especially "texa$ with a dollar sign" and "the future is now" and a couple others i cant remember names for) but it just lacked something Remember Right Now had, at least for me

They played awesome live!! I saw them with October Fall, TAI, and FOB. I would say FOB played third best. Spitalfield really got the party going. Although October Fall did kick ass!

Hmm, I say Spitafield can wait since I am listening to CAVE IN. Though the song, "I loved the way she said L.A." is awesome.

yeah i tottaly agree, spitalfield is really underrated the new album is as good as their last album, when i saw spitalfield they said that we were the first town to want an encore and they seemed really surprised that we would want such a thing (after like 2 months of touring)

The irony of it all, since releasing this album that I love, they've stopped coming to Syracuse, which they did almost monthly when Remember Right Now was current :/

why so i can listen to a painfully overrated and boring band? i've heard both albums numerous times and i just don't get the hype...

"I Loved The Way She Said LA" is a GREAT song, and it is one of my all time favorite rock out songs. It's one of those songs you just love after 1 listen.
