they had portugaltheman.com, but someone forgot to pay the bill and the site got bought or something. there's demos floating around, i'm sure if you ask around or do some searching, you can find them. there's seven total, including the two newest ones, if i'm counting correctly. i can't remember if they were selling the demos on a cd when they were on tour last.

ya, the guys from portugal all hate fearless. They were just putting out another "anatomy cd" so they can fulfill a contract and make so money to pay of fearless... I'm stoked. I like portugal stuff way more than anatomy...

you honestly have to be kidding me, if you ever saw Anatomy live, and then Portugal one after the other, you'd be crying because Anatomy would be so much better and John's annoying high voice would begin to hurt your ears when you listened to portugal..

as far as my understanding goes(which i`ve heard from members of portugal...), the reason for all this confusion is that anatomy of a ghost had a record deal with fearless that consisted of the release of two records. as many already know, anatomy of a ghost released one record under fearless, thus not satisfying the agreement. since anatomy of a ghost has long split up into separate projects, the members of portugal.the man were taking upon this fufillment of the record agreement with fearless by releasing the PTM record under the name anatomy of a ghost. apparently now, they have come to some agreement where they can simply release it under the name portugal.the man. cause that would be just stupid to release it under anatomy of a ghost when CLEARLY they are not the anatomy of a ghost.

once again, don't quote me, cause i could very well be wrong about all of this. this is just what is going on to MY UNDERSTANDING. of course once again, i could be wrong.

That's really cool that they are from Alaska. I spent two weeks there in June. We never went to Wasilla though, but I think it's by Anchorage.

The name of the band is The Burning Room (www.myspace.com/theburningroom) and the only former Anatomy member in the band is Dewey Halpaus (Guitar/vox). The members include John Wood (vox) and Travis Wisner(drums) who used to be in a band called the School Play and also 2 other guys named John.

Joe Simon (former guitar player from Anatomy) was involved in a project called We Are Wolves but they have since broken up.
