It's quite easy to turn a song into a rap song actually. Replace all the parts about love to sex and bitches, take out all the big words, speed up the song, talk so it seems you're uneducated, and finally, talk about how everybody is 'hatin' on you because they want to be you.

i bought a mix tape in a hip hop store called "rock phenomenon: rock vs hip hop" which is presented by Mike Shinoda from Linkinpark, thats pretty interesting, lot of good mash ups there
