Does anybody know what kind of chords circa survive uses? Preferably in the song living together? They don't sound like regular power chords so i was wondering if anybody knew or could ear what they play better than me

If it sounds similar to power chords but isn't. Maybe octaves? I don't listen to them and I'm not going to, but just guessing.

Confirms that at least part of the song is octaves.

Probably some new kind of chord Anthony Green invented with all his divine powers and angelic voice powers that no other band has access to since Circa Survive is oh so creative and original and worth listening to.

i realized the tab was on Ultimate guitar after i posted but i'm still wondering what types of chords you'd play when playing progressive experimental stuff like circa survive

Ummm...their own chords? It's called "experimental" for that very reason. Why don't you experiment and play around with some of your own stuff, or learn it by ear.
There are no "set chords" for the genre, or anything else for that matter. Be creative.

Actually, Circa Survive doesn't have any instruments, Anthony Green does it all with his voice.
