Thanks to brand new coming to TCNJ and me being the radio station's music director, it appears i'll be lucky enough to snag an interview pre-show. I could think of plenty of questions myself, but I figured ap.net would be a good place for some good ideas so i'm not askin stuff they answer every day...

Ask around what time they will start touring again, although that is a pretty common question.
But I just want to know!
(I'd say album too, but we know it won't be for an eternity.)

This stuff has all been covered in the past. Go with the influences question.
"What the fuck happened to you guys?"
"Back when your old site had a pitcutre gallery of sorts, there were a lot of references to Double Nickels on the Dime by The Minutemen. How influential was that album to you dudes?"
Ask this.

"Has the writing process changed on the new album? How much of the album has been written as a full band ala Degausser?"

Also, I've always wanted to know:
"What was the story behind Welcome to Bangkok, and why was it's title chosen?"

It's from a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie I believe.

I'm assuming you know where "Welcome to Bangkok" comes from (the movie Kickboxer, or so I've read), but you want to know why they took it from that?

I'm assuming you know where "Welcome to Bangkok" comes from (the movie Kickboxer, or so I've read), but you want to know why they took it from that? Yeah, not the what, but the why. Vinnie deserves to have a question aimed at him.
EDIT: Here's another one. "What new elements of music are you exploring on the new album? Do you feel that this album is yet another departure from previous work?"

What was up with the Lollapalooza incident? I only heard about it, and from what I get from it, they were telling people to go watch Explosions in the Sky instead of their set, which I would agree on.
