i have seen coheed a couple times and they were at least a year and a half apart and they did the exact same things on stage and played nearly all of the same songs.........and one of my friends saw them at summerfest a couple weeks ago and explained the set to me and the stage antics and it was exactly the same thing................kind of gets old especially when he sings into the pickups or plays with his tongue or whatever the fuck he is doing at every show.........................but i would love to see the blood brothers again, im regretting going to college in Indiana............FUCK!

and the sound at the riviera kinda sucks.i have to agree with this, i kind of feel like an asshole saying it but i really don't want to pay $20+ for shows. i know the bands have touring expenses and everything but the last time i saw the blood brothers it cost like $12, the last time i saw coheed it cost $15 at the most. the venue this is coming to holds at least 2000 kids, 2000 kids x $20 is a hell of a lot of money.

this is an amazing lineup though.

mewithoutYou - It's a little known fact, but some of you may remember when I called this band "the holocaust in my ears." Flash forward 8 months, and Catch For Us the Foxes has become an obsession. Probably the best lyrics I've heard in quite some time, the style of yelling vocals mixed with awesome bass lines and rugged music makes for something completely sublime and unique. Check out "Tie Me Up Untie Me" and "Carousels." Deeply spiritual and personal.


I used to HATE this band. Sometimes it takes a while for a band to grow on you. I couldn't stand his voice before, I couldn't stand the style, but musical tastes evolve and change. Now, i listen to that album like 3 times a day, I'm completely obsessed. My friend finally convinced me to give it another shot, and I'm so glad that I did. Before, I couldn't stand the music, so I didn't care what the lyrics were like. You're completely overreacting.

P.S. - I never reviewed this band or album, so I don't know where you're pulling that from. If I'd actually reviewed it, I would have read the lyrics while listening. But I didn't review it, I gave it a surface listen, and I hated it. Now I love it!

P.P.S - I don't know how I'm a trendy scene whore, the reason I started listening to them more was because I'm interning at Tooth & Nail and wanted to give them another shot. I started falling in love with them way before this tour was announced. Your post really doesn't make any sense.
