They did say that they would be more involved with the street team in the next few weeks when the push for this tour starts.

Just got back - they don't play in order but from what I recall they play pretty much all of illuminate. They threw in It's In Your Blood, and did an Always Move Fast encore.

black gold was pretty good. i'm really not a huge fan of their album and recorded material but they were very into it live. we talked to them for a little bit after the show and they're real cool guys too. the vocalist may not have the most original voice or biggest range (at least that's what i thought) but they killed it live.

We have bad news... Our show was scheduled at AV-Aerie tonight but the venue miraculously closed last night.

We scrambled to find another show and we'll be playing the Empty Bottle tonight. Doors are at 6:30 and unfortunately it is 21+. If you bought tickets already, they will still be good for the show tonight at the Empty Bottle. If you're under 21 you can get a refund.

Were very sorry to anyone under 21 but we hope all of you that can make it out, will be there.

All the Day Holiday opened with about a 20 minute set. Pretty decent music, cool guys.
Black Gold was on next for about a half hour. Really good live performance.
Lydia went on at around 11:15ish.

A jam session started the set, followed by Leighton taking the stage and opening with Smile, You've Won. Two more off of TDIOMAIF, a b-side and 7 songs off of Illuminate. The set finished with Now the One You Once Loved Is Leaving with each member slowly leaving the stage. The crowd pushed for one more song and they came back and played Always Move Fast. Leighton kept apologizing for being sick, he was drinking water/tea and using cloraceptic spray the entire set. The Middle East crowd was definately into the set, and sang along to pretty much everything.

Black Gold opened with a 25 minute set. Shorter then last night, but they got cut off two songs early.

Lydia was up next. Same opening scene as last night. Leighton was really, really sick and said they would be playing a shorter set. Pretty much the same set as last night, except they cut out Hospital, Your Taste Is My Attention & Always Move Fast and maybe one more. There wasn't a set list either night, so I'm just going off of memory. Crowd wasn't nearly as hot as the night before. No encore.

And for those of you whining about shows starting early,there's a good reason. I've been doing shows for well over a year and I usually have my shows start at 6PM and try to have them end at 10PM. There's school and some people have jobs. No use in starting a show at 8PM and having it end at midnight or 1AM. Kids that go to school make up for a lot of the crowd and if the show starts late then they'll probably not show up.

Sadly, no. I actually go to college near Virginia Beach, so I'll be hitting up the Richmond date the night before, and the night after the Maryland date is Copeland back down in Virginia Beach. I also have a 10-15 paged paper due that following week so I'm trying not to travel that much at that point in the semester - I tend to procrastinate, so I'm just looking out for myself, haha.

Haha, oh man. That sounds like an awesome couple of nights! And I'm such a procrastinator too. But, I think that I work better under pressure, so that's my excuse, haha... Good luck with your paper, but hopefully we'll run into each other sometime over the summer then!

I just had to make the difficult decision of missing the Lydia stop in Austin to see the very first show of Tinted Windows. So this "super band" better not disappoint!

I was at the March 12th date and I have to say, I think I liked the two opening bands more than Lydia.

I went to this last night. Basically, when Lydia went on only Mindy and her keyboard were setting up and I got suspicious. Basically she goes through sound check and then announces that Leighton fainted from the stomach flew earlier that night and he was in the ER. So, they played anyways and Mindy did all the singing. Steve played the acoustic guitar.They played some of the simpler songs and Mindy did a cover of Back to Black by Amy Winehouse. I was a little disappointed because I think they're musicianship is what makes them so great and the show lacked that without the rest of the members and instruments. Oh well, I've already seen them once before.
