My parents bought our house for $201K in 1993 and the exact same model house down the street with a shittier interior just sold for $569K last month.

houses in CT are rediculous. my house was 600K and down south in like NC it would be about 300K. we do have a good amount of land but besides that, an above average house is extremely exspensive in most towns, especially mine, Burlington

ive been to south orange nj and i will say that the area near seton hall IS a piece of shit haha. but all states have their bad parts. greenwhich CT is next to bridgeport and bridgeport is not safe by any means

Bridgeport is disgusting. It's as if NYC dumped all their trash there and the pile got so big it encompased and entire zip code so they just decided to call it the city of Bridgeport.

When we moved back around 98, our house was like $365 K and now after some renovations (but mainly just demand for property here) it's worth over a million. My house is nice, pretty big, but no way a home that would strike you as a million dollar home.
Also, what are these rankings based on? Because Yorba Linda is number 21 and I don't think that area is anything special.
