Weatherby (http://www.purevolume.com/weatherby)'s bass player, Josh Armfield, got a call this last Wednesday that he was being activated and is being sent over to Iraq. The band is finding a fill-in to play in his absence. The band would also ask that everyone keep Josh in their thoughts and prayers during his tour of duty.

lucky

Nobody's stopping you from moving.

On a side note, yeah it sucks to go, and yes the war is dumb, but he obviously wanted to join the military.

Do you even think when you post something like "no one's stoping you from moving?" Seriously, do you think it through ...

What is your point in attacking him? People bitch and moan about the things the country does, and they either need to shit or get off the pot. Either work for change, or leave. I don't see anything wrong with calling someone out on what they say.

couldn't agree any more.

do people think when they say someone is lucky for living in canada? every country has its problems, but something is keeping you here, if you are just gonna bitch and moan, and never take action, than maybe you should join the "lucky" ones. im quite happy living in our country and i will vote every election to change it for the better.

You can bitch and moan AND try to change stuff at the same time. Hell usually the bitching and moaning can facilitate the change as long as you put it in the right perspective for prospective supporters.

you can bitch and moan AND try to change stuff at the same time. but when you say you're proud to live in canada when you hear another person who enlisted in the military and is now being called to duty is pretty much an inappropriate thing to say. i find it to bepretty cruel considering this guy could die out there, so instead of mocking him for doing something admirable, wish him luck.

yeah I agree with everyone who says its stupid to be all "i wish i were canadian" cuz well... its not the freak'n hard to change your citizenship so if you would really like to pay taxes out of your ass to pay for all the healthcare in that country, and if you want to live in a country that has no real political influence in the world, go right ahead... and i say that to yellowcard too for their new tour name.

instead of wishing you were canadian, how about going and buying a "support our troops" sticker if you really like the guy and his band. being a patriot kicks ass.
