welp... this band finally got a good rating on pitchfork, so I guess it's time for AP to be introduced to them. The song "Worlds" is fantastic. I also have almost all of their back catalogue if you deem it necessary to look further into them.

Worlds was good, but they are a tad too minimalist for me. I will, however, say that this is one of the few bands I can enjoy female lead vocals in.

I'd like this as well.

The Pitchfork review says shoegaze and they use a lot of electronics.

I have to thank you for introducing me to Pomegranates. I've listened to the album 37 times since I got it on last Friday. So good.

Good band. Can't say the same for Pomegranates.

Childlike female vocals over really heartstring-tugging, dreamy music. The early stuff had lots of distorted guitars and some industrial elements, then after a few albums they softened up but are still really powerful, and they've basically been chugging since then. If you want a taste of the three phases, I would reccommend the newest s/t, Forever, and Self-Non-Self.

Also, RIYL The Cure, I guess. They toured with them in the 90's and thus have a pretty big crossover fanbase.

Alright, sounds awesome. I'll definitely check those out. Also, thanks for the Larry Arms recs, really helpful.

Bores me to tears.

I disagree, but that's certainly a good reason.
