And on second thought, it does not look so cool. It appears to be just a bunch of "bells and whistles". Like the transparancy, completely useless.

Eh, I'm sick of this egotistical Macs are better than Windows bullshit. They both have their pros, they both have their cons. Personally I like my PC because I can customize the hardware however I want and I can play games on it and I can get Style XP themes to make it look like a Mac (which I prefer some of). I have the best of both worlds.

agreed and everything i do on a windows computer i can do better on a mac, therefore thats why i want one. I don't play video games on a PC and ive only upgraded Ram on a Windows computer.

Yea, but did you mention Mac being unstable at one point too? I don't know, I just don't understand why people sit and call Macs or PCs pieces of shit. Everyone has their own personal preference. I think both are good for different reasons. I just don't get why to have an attitude about it (I'm not using that comment towards you personally, just everyone as a whole that makes those statements).

Otherwise it's smart, they realize that everyone is going to Macs because they like the look better, so they can get a part of that market by making their OS look like that. It's called Marketing.

yeah i heard about that ... but i heard its extremly buggy. because its a beta version of an OS its going to have its glitches, i wouldnt recomend downloading it.

No, they want to improve and have it be aesthetically similar to a Mac, because really, that's the main competition for Windows right now. Mac OS X looks better. So Microsoft has to step it up to compete. Macs will never be able to compete as far as top power, compatibility, and gaming - Windows owns it in every other sense (Hence why I am loyal to Windows) I also personally hate the layout of OS X, and while it looks awesome, the functionability of it is terrible. It's meant for a complete noob who doesn't know what he's doing on a computer - well I do, and I like things a bit more complex. I like a 2 button mouse. :shake:

I actually use styleXP and I found a third party site to download the skin, it's called "Milk."

Then I use Maxthon as my browser. I'm all for how Macs look, they're amazing, I just don't like how they, you know, work.

As much as I love Macs, I do love my PC. Even if it is unstable and crashes twice a week, I live with it. It's not so bad. I'm not going to upgrade it to the next release. I just don't like how it's going to look and I have a feeling Microsoft is going to push it out before it gets everything worked out. I plan to keep my PC even after I get my Mac. There's no reason to not like both.

I use StyleXP aswell, but I don't use the windows shell. Macs are beautiful, but I wouldn't try to make my theme look like a mac. It just doesn't look that good.

I wanted to be like the two other people in this thread and show my desk off. :P

I have StyleXP at the moment, but both yours and theEsco's themes are really making me want to change my current one. They're both insanely sick. Would you say Maxthon is a better browser than Firefox?
