online college classes

hey i was just wondering if anyone (in college) has taken any of their classes online and what it's like. im registering for classes and im considering a few online classes, just wondering if they're better or worse or about the same as at the school classes. the only reason im doin online classes is cause i currently dont have a car and it will make my life much easier.

my girlfriend took a few history classes online. they were cool just because you got to use your book and google (if you wanted to open another window and couldn't find answers in the books) for everything but you needed to really know how to skim through textbooks and find answers easily. but you'll end up writing about an essay a week and a doing 2 quizes or so. more work, but it's easier work so you usually don't spend as much time as you would in a class.

They are the best. I took some computer class online. You go to class like 3 times, and just email around one small assignment a week. It was an easy A.
