I like Mest and I like Social D...but touring together...that's like Good Charlotte opening up for Elton John.

This is like Dashboard Confessional opening up for Black Sabbath, a weird combination but being a fan of Social Distortion for years and being a fan of Mest for a long time, I'm actually looking forward to this tour as odd as it will be to seeing 30 year old guys starting a pit with all the kids that will be there sporting "Tony Marry Me" shirts.

This isnt the weirdest pairing for Mest

About three years ago they toured with the Circle Jerks for about two weeks. I promised myself i would never go to another mest show about a year and half ago but if this tour hits up SD i might potentially think about going.

if you dont wanna see mest, dont watch them...i saw fenix tx with pod and blindside...the disasters with nfg, gc, and ltj... linkin park with snoop dogg, the used, ltj, funeral for a friend, korn...D12 / Jurrasik 5 on warped tour...tell me all of those arent weird lineups...project revolution was crazy - i live in pittsburgh and i've never seen post gazette pavillion more packed other than for a dmb concert...maybe the people who put this tour together arent so dumb, they'll get the hardcore social d fans who have the skeleton logo inked on their leg, and they'll get the gc fans who havent had their first period yet.

as for this tour, I think it'll be weirder to see Tsunami Bomb on the tour than Mest. but I know there are many people that still hate Mest for writing novelty pop/punk songs 5 yrs ago, so I don't expect anyone to agree with me.
