Saosin Set Back With Warped EP

Saosin (www.saosin.com) have faced a slight set back and their Warped Tour EP isn't available on the tour just yet. We will let you know when the disc becomes available for purchase at an east coast date near you. In case you've missed it, here is the tracklisting:

but still, Saosin played main stage in Toronto this past saturday instead of Dillinger who played the Hurley stage which is bullshit. I love Saosin, but their live performance was terribly disappointing, Cove sounded like he didnt hit any note other then in No Angel and I Can Tell, not even in Bury Your Head, AND HE DID THE VOCALS ON IT.

Saosin is decent, but they're nothing spectacular whether it's Anthony or Cove behind the mic. Actually, about the only thing Anthony Green's ever touched that I really enjoy is Zolof. Circa Survive had a couple good songs, but I really don't like his voice. And Cove is better at stage presence than the actual singing part.

You're not the only one , my buddy went to the Barrie date and he said Saosin was fucking horrible. HE coudln't even tell what song they we're playing cause cove had the same note for every song.

How a band makes it on the main stage, with one 5 song EP, a recent change of lead singers and a couple of demo's floating on the internet is quite remarkable. I love Saosin, but that shit is pretty remarkable. I just want to hear a full length from these guys.

I'm really impressed with the warped EP... I think it's good and don't think No Angel sounds decent, maybe if they turned the vocals up a LITTLE bit then it would have sounded better. Oh well. I'm over it. Saosin is good and we'll leave it at that.

i certainly think saosin does get a lot of hype, but it is for a reason. everything they've released up to this point has been amazing. when saosin blows up with their full length, no one will be saying all this hype was for no reason.

well you have to realize that they have about 13 songs that they released including the songs on translating the name. so it is possible. they only have to play for half an hour and they have more than 30 mins worth of music.

&& i think it's better to wait for a good sounding record instead of getting it now and getting a shitty record, then you can stop complaining about the record taking too long and start complaining about how they suck now. but yeah.

&& i do think that saosin has moved on too because cove doesn't try to keep that anthony green sound in saosin. he does in some songs but if he actually tried it would be more like anthony's. like if you've heard anthony's "i can tell" and cove's "i can tell there was an accident" [second version]. not exactly the same vocals but that's how he sang at first until he got comfortable with not having to live up to anthony's performance. yes. i still think anthony has the best stage performance ever, for a vocalist. but his stage performance best suits saosin than circa imo.

i don't know about anyone else but i'm really fucking sick of this band. i saw them about 2 years ago with anthony right after the EP came out, and i've been waiting for a CD forever. now they said they had this coming out and i was somewhat excited to get it when i went to warped tour, but sure enough, they didn't have it....i am definately losing interest fast...

and i'm really glad anthony left, because i can see now why he did...he's released like 4,002 different songs on different projects since he left, and saosin has released shit...

i still think anthony has the best stage performance ever, for a vocalist. but his stage performance best suits saosin than circa imo.
have you seen both circa survive and the new saosin? i saw the new saosin at warped tour, and the very next day i went and saw circa survive. after comparing the two and talking to anthony, i realized how much more he fits in with circa than with saosin. i tried to imagine him singing in saosin in the performance that i saw them have the day before at warped and i just couldn't do it...true though, if you've seen him perform with saosin, he was really good, but i think he fits in with circa way better...
