Hey guys, I've been a long time member of this site (though I don't post much) and thought I'd put the new project that I'm involved with up on the chopping block for you guys.

We're a 5 piece indie / acoustic / rock band from Pottsville, Pa. We've only been a band for about 8 months and just recently released our first self-recorded and self-produced full length record. We currently have 6 songs up on our myspace (http://www.myspace.com/themeyerstraights) for you to check out. We have a few shows in the works now but would love to get out of the area to play some different cities.

Just wanted to keep everyone updated. We have posted a remixed version of our song "Unwind" on our myspace player (http://www.myspace.com/themeyerstraights). This is the version of the song that will be on all current/future pressings of the album.

In other news: our song "Sour" was recently included in a film written and produced by Zeke Zelker. In Search Of (http://www.insearchofmovie.com) can be viewed for free online at http://www.hulu.com/in-search-of.

Let us know what you think of the songs. We have CDs for sale and we're looking for shows to play anywhere in the tri-state area.

Well it's that time fora monthly update again. We've added three videos to our myspace page of a recent acoustic practice. We're going to start playing some open mic nights sans drums and bass but incorporating a different instruments. We're breaking out the accordion and an acoustic guitar tuned to open E in place of the lap-steel guitar. Check them out!!

Also our album is still available for purchase, just message us for details. Also the songs will be on iTunes within the next two weeks.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we have a new song up for streaming on our MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/themeyerstraights). The song is titled "Incinerate" and was recorded live in a barn in the middle of the woods.

Also streaming on our MySpace is our full length debut album which was released a little over a year ago. If anyone is interested post in this thread or send me a message and I can send you a download link to get the full album for free.
