Just a sonnet about depression, in a situation where no one can see it. The last line refers to the fact that even though to everyone else you look like you're going no where, you do know where you are going.

Battered and bruised and beaten all but dead
Only representing something most dread
Tonight I realize just one true thing
I am surviving on a broken wing

Not one sad soul will know this tomorrow
As they pity only open sorrow
And I will still dream on this slate in time
Fully awake as I commit my crime

And when the straight path's time comes to an end
It can only mean a curve or a bend
Yet while they draw from instability
I will see I’m complete impurity

Even through this I know where I will be
And I’m not ashamed that just I can see

I battle depression; its a hard thing for all of us that go through it.

What you think of this?

Lost in a world where right is wrong
Found an outlet, not too long
Break out of this steel of cage
Fix the gaps, lose the rage

Breathe in slowly
Pace the floor
Calm your thoughts
Smoke some more

Blank words fall in front of you
Chemicals take its toll
Time go's on lunch break
And brown liquid will roll

Am I sad, am I mad?
Is it you or is it just me?
Suicidal Is my rival
My death not a tradgedy
