So Ricky Williams makes his glorious return to football Monday night, I am really interested how the fans are going to accept him/how he is going to play in this hall of fame game. Any thoughts on this subject matter?

Haha, 'glorious return'.
I'm excited to see how he looks on the field. I've always been a fan of his personally. Two years ago, no one could've put up great numbers running the ball for Miami, seeing that they had practically no offensive line for him to run behind, and he had defenders waiting in the backfield for him half the time.
I wouldn't expect anything great from him immediately though, he's been out of football for a while.

This game is going to be a shitfest. I can't stand watching any Chicago game, and Miami has a really poor QB situation going on. Ricky should get a lot of carries, since the last time I checked, Brown hasn't been signed yet.
i think ricky is going to do well this year

I'm more concerned about his desire to play more than anything else. He's obviously got the talent. No matter how he does, he's still an upgrade at that position from last year.

5 carries for 8 yards.

Too much hype for nothing. This game was more about the passing games than running the ball. Out of the 7 QB's on the field tonight, Grossman looked to be about the 6th most impressive, ahead of Feeley. I think Frerotte has the starting job easily locked up.

You gotta understand though it takes Ricky about 15 carries to get going, he has always gotten better as the game goes on.

yeah, he was an unbelievable player BEFORE he left Miami to have a season from hell...look at the stats..Ricky ALONE had more yards the year than the WHOLE MIAMI OFFENCE.....that right there is sad...that said, i dont care what kind of player he is..id get him out of there..hes great trade bait

He really has no trade value at all right now its going to take a year for him to get any kind of trade value at all. You dont lose talent in a year, oh i know the stats and Ricky did that behind a nothing "offensive" line...I really dont see the dolphins trading him at all.

unless he produces...hes out of there...especially with Ronnie in there..the guys gonna do great...and plus, Ricky has a 4 game suspension....Dolphins are better off trading him...and what ever anyone else says about no trade value...thats BS...theres pleanty of teams who would love to have Williams rushing...

I don't know, a lot of Auburn running backs either fail in the NFL or take a few years to develop.

if im not mistaken the trade dedline is a couple if not one game after his suspension is over...there really isnt going to be that much time for him to produce...also i totally agree i would love to have ricky in big D he is my favorite player, but he just doesnt look to appealing right now.

you mean to tell me teams like the 49ers, the titans, the texans, the lions, the begals...wouldnt want Ricky Williams off an easy trade...
any of those teams would take Williams in a second...hes like TO..off the field he could be a pain to deal with (contracts, money, etc)..but on the field hes amazing

Ricky looked very good in this game. Made guys miss, broke tackles, dragged multiple players with him. Ronnie Brown needs to get into camp.

did yall know that Ricky Williams is now a vegetarian and thats y he lost all that weight. He use to play at 240 now he is down to 205-215 bc of his new diet... He wont be in good shape and I cant see him playing at all

Well he's agreed to terms now with the team. And he'll have to start, since Ricky has that 4 game suspension.

true...but after that, i think one of the two will be leaving the team, and right now theres a 90 percent chance its ricky if he can stir up some trade discussions
