Chris came out and said he kinda had a setlist together but said that if anyone had something they wanted to hear he would play it so the whole set was full of requests from the crowd. I'm pretty sure he'll do this everynight of this tour.
I wish anthony would stop playing those cover songs and replace them with his own.
So it was a pretty awesome show in an intimate setting. I recommend going if you like any of the dudes on the tour.

I was at the show last night at MSU and it was incredible. Anthony's cover of "I will follow you into the dark" was sweet. Chris basically took requests from the audience and played a bunch of different stuff. Dustin played every song I wanted to hear and more - similar set list to the one listed for the night before, but in a different order. Dustin also just hopped off the stage after his set and hung out with people in the audience, which was sweet.

The East Lansing show was incredible. Anthony was brilliant, the cover of Death Cab was godlike. Chris had this hilarious bow after every song, and he had a set list but quickly gave into the wills of the crowd. I'm nto a big get up kids fan but he did a Brooklyn Boy Kevin Devine cover. That was cool. Then Matt and Dustin did a colabo cover of Oh My Sweet Carolina, immaculate. Finally Dustin was just...unreal. Best for last. Only a couple of Thrice songs, which is to be expected. I didn't reall like his rendition of Milly Michealson, but I mean, who am I to complain. Great fucking show!!!!!
so excited about this. soooo excited. i'll have pittsburgh setlists.

do you mean If You Had A Bad Time by alk3? anyway, i definitely agree about anthony's covers. i would love to see him play his own songs instead. but oh well. i see him in february. i'm not sure if it's part of this tour or not, because i think he's the only one play besides a local band.

I was at the Pittsburgh show, and it was great. Anthony was solid; I wasn't a fan of Chris; I was impressed by Matt; Dustin was amazing. "Artist" is my favorite Thrice song, so that was a perfect opener, and I was so pumped when he played "A Song for Milly Michaelson" because it's a favorite of mine that I didn't expect at all.
I recorded about half of Dustin's set, with mediocre picture but pretty good sound, so I'll make a YouTube account and upload 'em if anyone is interested. I got "Artist," "Pistol," "Hospital Beds," "Blanket of Ghosts," "Milly," and "Round Here." (By the way, it's "Blanket of Ghosts," not "Weary Saints," that he played.)
Oh, and as a side note, I went up with two other people, and we forgot to buy tickets. When we saw that it sold out (should've guessed it would), we were disappointed but decided to wait. A guy then came with three extra tickets. Two other groups wanted them, so we each had a representative pick a number from 1 to 20. We won with a lucky 12 and bought the tickets off of him.
Anyone have set times?

oh ok, my bad. i'll fix that. they each went for almost an hour, it was ridiculous. there's like, no soundcheck at all. the sound guy couldn't even get through a whole song of house music between sets.

Anthony's set was shorter than everybody else's actually, but still. It was almost four hours of music I think, plus they all stayed afterwards and talked to every last kid in the venue. Such nice guys.

Over all a great show, started an hour later than it was suppose to. Anthony sounded great. Matt covered Reggie And The Full Effect's Girl, Why'd You Run Away?, which was cool. And Dustin was wonderful, he lost his setlist before getting on the stage, he "wung it". The Creep cover was chilling and it was a good mix of Thrice/solo/covers. What a great show it was.

Went to the Pittsburgh show - drove 6.5 hrs from northern Jersey and it was well worth it. Amazing show. Dustin took the time to take pictures with everyone that was crowded around him after his set. The other guys did too, only their crowds were much smaller :)
Dustin's cover of "Round Here" has now topped the list of best Counting Crows songs...though to be fair the only other one I know is Stretch Arm Strong doing "Angels of the Silences" (which is still very good)

When we were half-way to the venue (it's about a forty or so minute drive) we realized my friend forgot the tickets, which wasn't a big deal to me because I didn't buy one in advance but sucked for them since it was almost 6:30 PM, the show (suppose) to start at 7:00 PM and we wanted to see Anthony, so we decided not to turn around and they were going to just buy tickets at the door.
There is a Chipotle right next door to the Grog Shop, not wanting to stand in the cold we decided we'd sit in there until the doors opened at 7:00 PM. As we got near the door I saw Dustin talking to two people and we went in, said hello and my one friend mentioned how they had forgotten their tickets at home. To which Dustin said "Do you guys want tickets?", got out his phone, started texting and my friend said "Oh, it's okay we'll buy two other tickets" and he said "I don't want you guys to have to pay twice. Give one of your names." And that was it - all three of us go in on his guest list. Which, again proves how much awesome and down-to-earth Dustin really is.
He hung out after the show and took pictures, signed autographs and talked to whoever wanted to stick around. Also talked to Anthony a bit. It was a good night.
Overall, the crowd seemed to be the biggest for Matt Pryor and he was def hilarious and talked to the crowd the most and one point telling a heckler he loved him for being there but to "chill out and shut the fuck up."
Some other things: Anthony's set was too short IMO but he was the opener, four Baysides and five covers bvut some of their songs he struggles to play acoustic solo, so I understand. Dustin semeed inritated that he lost his setlist in the fifteen feet from the dressing room to the stage. It was a pretty full show but not sold out. If you like any of these guys, you should check out this tour and stick around for all of it. The end was really sweet.

All four of the guys were great, I talked to Matt and Anthony for a minute, and Chris for like, twenty minutes. He was so cool, he signed by Stay What You Are vinyl. I didn't get to talk to Dustin, but he had a crowd of about twenty or so people around him, he was like, telling stories and stuff. It was such a great atmosphere all throughout the show.

I didn't get to talk to Dustin, but he had a crowd of about twenty or so people around him, he was like, telling stories and stuff. It was such a great atmosphere all throughout the show.
No doubt, man. I knew Dustin was a nice guy because I've met him countless times (I always seem to run in to him - he was leaving the Virgin Megastore in Orlando after night 1 of the Brand New/Thrice tour there and walking down 5th Ave in NYC in May) and he's always willing to stop and tallk but the fact that he just got us in without us even asking... so awesome.

Cleveland show was great... I loved the atmosphere and crowd interaction. And the choice of covers were amazing from Good Fucking Bye, Sorrow, I Will Follow You Into the Dark, and Just To See You Smile from Anothy and then Hospital Beds, Round Here, Atlantic City, and Creep from Dustin. And it was all capped off with the four of them singing Boxcar and Linoleum.
Matt Pryor played 'Action & Action' at the Cleveland show and he claimed he hadn't tried it acoustic in years. He also said there could be a Get Up Kids tour in the Fall "if we all don't kill each other between now and then" (at the festival shows coming up).

You and your friend(s)... whoever you went with... might of been near me and my bf. Did you yell out "we drove from jersey" to chris? haha. up against the wall near the front? haha.
We drove up fro Virginia
Nah that wasn't us that shouted that out, but we were close by that area.
Glad to see there were other people who drove a lot to go to this. Some people just don't understand - everyone I have told about it was like "you are driving how far? for a show??". I don't think they understood the magnitude of this show. By far I think the coolest music experience I think I have been to...from the laid back atmosphere, to meeting them afterwards, and even Chris's face while he was playing tambourine for Matt.

Good fucking Christ.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but after the show all four guys walk around the crowd and sign ticket stubs, take pictures, and meet people. Definitely a cool thing.

Fairly decent show. The crowd was pretty sucky and Chris wouldn't sing certain songs (i.e. bones) because he said he had been sick. I was kind of hoping to hear some more obscure, older material... but since he took requests there wasn't much to be done about that.

anyone else have the misfortune of standing near the drunken dustin fans who didn't know half the words to the songs, insisted on screaming and pumping their fists, and throwing beer in the air?

ya i had to deal with that. it pissed me off during matt pryor because they had no respect for him at all, and they completely ruined "i'll catch you." and one of those assholes got to play on stage with him.

I hated that everyone kept yelling for Get Up Kids stuff but I knew it would happen. I really respect and love his solo work. I made a point to tell him that after the show...since no one else showed any appreciation at the Dekalb show. He's a great guy.
