Eisley and Days Away will be playing 3 free Yahoo! shows this month. The only place to get tickets is here (http://advision.webevents.yahoo.com/scp/viewer/index.php?client_id=1186&event_id=15981).

August 16th - Bowery Ballroom in NYC
August 18th - Double Door in Chicago
August 19th - Magic Bag in Detroit

Anyone else think these two should do a full tour together? I sure do!

Eisley simply blows me away. Aside from the fact that they've got a unique sound and are more or less a family band.. They're just wonderful musicians.

Granted that kind of music isn't going to appeal to everyone. I saw them play when Brand New was in town, and that was an incredible show. Sherri owns my heart.

Boo nothing near me :( (http://www.absolutepunk.net/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=undefined#) that would have been a great show.

Double Door is a weird place to have a concert. Especially since the bands appeal to people younger than 21.

That's the same problem that they had when touring with Lovedrug. 50% of their (Eisley's) fans weren't old enough to get into the venues.

in related news, 50% of eisley's fans probably own at least one Kidz Bop album

hmmm Eisley at the Bowery? or The Offspring at CBGBs... such a tough choice... I choose The offspring. For al lof you going to eisley... even with printed tickets it's still first come first serve.

Actually I believe they are a family band now. The... bassist?... was the only non-family member and he left to pursue other things in life about a month or so ago, I believe a cousin has replaced him.

I actually heard Eisley for the first time in April on the NFG/Reggie/Eisley tour and they were incredible. I picked up their album, "Room Noises", the next day and was blown away.

I think a tour with Days Away would be perfect, and let's take it a step further and put This Day and Age on there too :)

its a mistake on the tickets, its actually a 16+ show, boyd corrected the error in an email/on the website.

and to everyone else: just because you have tickets really means NOTHING. its first come first serve and theyre giving out more tickets than there is space so you better show up early and wait in line or you arent getting in.

Um, it's not an all-girl band... those are guys.
(I don't know what else you could mean. If you think any of the Eisley girls are ugly, you seriously need to see an eye doctor.)

By the way, later this fall they're touring with Switchfoot, and considering A: both bands' primary fanbases, and B: the fact that Eisley just got new management, I would expect a minimum of age-restricted shows.
