You're right. It is a bad move to release it a few months after the 360. There will only be one choice Christmas season; everyone will by the 360 and ps3 won't do shit until next christmas. They probably can't get their system out that fast and that's what they're starting to take into consideration. At this point I'd say they should wait until next Christmas.

That information of FF7 is believed to be false. They have a demo of what it would look like, but for now, there are only rumors of there being a FF7 remake. I wish though...

Not all, but it will support older titles that you can download (for a fee) and there was talk of other companies doing tie ins with their back catalog. (example: lets say they make a new contra game, then could give you the older titles with it, or even offer downloadable rom as unlocks for beating levels and such) how other publishers use the downloadable rom content is up to the publisher.

This is Nintendo we are talking about and I dont care that everyone spouts off shit about them, they still make some damn fun games. For me its going to be a 360 for the medicore mature games and Revolution for the Fun, even if everyone things they're kid like games.

They aren't sure if it'll cost a fee yet, but it's highly likely. They are a business, and they'll try to make a profit where they can.

PS3 is not twice as powerful as XBox 360. In the end, the difference between XBox 360 and PS3 will be about the difference between GameCube and Xbox in graphics. The gap between system graphics is simply going to get smaller as time goes by.

In the end, it really comes down to fans and games, not power. Microsoft's headstart will help them in North America, but it won't mean shit in Japan and Europe. PS3 is pretty much guaranteed to "win" overall, but it really doesn't mean much. PS2 "won" this time around, and I'm still more content with my purchase of a GameCube than I'd be with a PS2 purchase, simply because I enjoy Mario, Zelda, Metroid, and a bunch of other Nintendo-exclusive titles.

I think I am done with Sony products. They break so easily or something better ends upcoming out compared to what they have. I will only get PS3 to play MGS4, but other than that, I don't care. It gives me a reason to give up on video games at least.

I don't know, ever since Sega Saturn (that was a waste but hey its so cool to play it now) the playstation has been pretty friendly to me. I'll stick with it. It's just the system I feel the most comfortable with. but Xbox 360 looks pretty intriguing.
